Downloading programs from the web to your computer
Using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape:
Left click on the program or program
group you want,
Select the option to Save the program or group,
Select or create a directory for the file. (TI-Graph Link may not
recognize long directory paths, including those in "My Documents."
It is better to use a simple directory path under "My Computer," such
as "C:/MathMach".
Downloading programs from your computer to your calculator
Using TI-Graph Link:
Be sure the TI-Graph Link cable is connect to the computer and to
the calculator and be sure the calculator is on.
It is not necessary to load the calculator program into
TI-Graph Link unless you want to view or edit the program. Instead,
you can select Link/Send to/RAM from the TI-Graph Link menu and send
the desired program or program group directly to the calculator.
Many of the programs here are in groups. If you try to load a group
into TI-Graph Link, it will give you the opportunity to ungroup
and save the programs on your computer as individual files. After they
are ungrouped, you can view or edit the individual files, and each
one
can be transmitted
to the calculator by using the "Send to RAM" button in the
top right of the program window.
Using TI-Connect
Be sure the TI-Graph Link cable is connect to the computer and to
the calculator and be sure the calculator is on.
Start TI-Connect and select "TI-Group Explorer" from the main menu.
Select the file or files you want to transmit to the calculator.
Transmit the files using either the Action/Send to Device menu choice
or the "Send to Device" icon.
