Building a Simple SensorDAQ Servo Pointer

 

A servomotor pointer is inexpensive, convenient way to control the direction of a flashlight, laser pointer, web cam or other device. The precision should be accurate to within about 1 degree and cover a range from about -80 to +80.

Parts and Materials Required:

1 Battery holder, 4 AA
4 Batteries, AA
1 wood or acrylic base plate, 2.5" x 4"
4 Rubber feet
1 Servo motor
Double-sided foam mounting tape

SensorDAQ interface

Tools Required:

Wire cutter/stripper
Screw driver (small, flat)
