If you have a SersorDAQ interface from Vernier Software and Technology, you can use it to control an inexpensive hobby servo motor using free-form mathematical equations. The servo motor can be used to move a laser pointer, mirrors, probes and much more

Our most versatile robot controller, this board has its own PIC chips to keep the stepper motors running at pre-selected speeds while the calculator and interface work at collecting data or other tasks. The board also provides 4 servo ports and 2 programmable 12-volt outputs. Works with either the CBL2, LabPro or the original CBL. (Adapter required for the original CBL)

With the LabPro, the board can also be operated from a computer using LabVIEW.

A calculator-controlled "Pointer" that can turn through a precise angle at a precisely controlled speed.

It has enough power to function as well as a "Power Pulley," turning gears or other mechanical systems.

Allows the calculator to control either 1 high-precision stepper motor or up to 4 servo motors. Great for experimenting with robot arms and lots of other projects.

Each board allows one of the LabPro's Digital ports to control both a stepper motor and either a servo motor or a voltage-activated device such as a light or buzzer. With two boards, the LabPro can run a SAM robot.

A single board can also be used with the CBL2 to run a 1-dimensional cart or a pointer.
